I really enjoyed these books. They offer insight into various time periods and places. The two books we have read so far are
If You Were Me and Lived In Elizabethan England
and
If You Were Me and Lived In Ancient China The illustrations are vibrant and educational. The whole concept of these books is quite educational. I am hoping to find more of them in our local library. One of the things my daughter loved was learning the saying "It's Raining Cats and Dogs" comes from Elizabethan England. I'm not going to give away exactly why the phrase came to be. You'll just have to read the book. I'm excited to get more of these books.
