I really wasn't sure what I was in for when I ordered this Singing Bowl Set. I have to say, I am very pleasantly surprised. There are many ways that different ages, people, and cultures use singing bowls. I have found a wonderful way to integrate the singing bowl into my children's education. We have explored the Himalayan Culture, learned about the Buddhist teachings, and learned the different ways to play a singing bowl. This great package from Amazon brought with it days of cultural, geographical, and religious studies, as well as music appreciation. All of the kids are interested in learning the different ways to play the bowl. Even the baby is enjoying the deep resonating tones it offers.
This particular set is very nice. The box it comes in is a box decorated in silken paper with a very nice logo. Inside is the very well made, and gorgeous-sounding, Singing Bowl. It is accompanied by a pillow that it sits perfectly on and a matching carry bag. As is tradition, the mallet is felt on one side and wood on the other. Learning to play the singing bowl has been a great experience.
I highly recommend this set. It has so much to offer and the price is fantastic. Especially considering all that you receive.
