I was pretty excited when I saw this on Amazon. We have an indoor grow area for our pepper plants. (My husband is a hot pepper savant and prides himself in growing the hottest peppers on the Scoville Scale.) The lights that we had set up use a lot of energy and create quite an excess of heat.
The benefits of the LED Grow Light already looked good because it claims to use less energy and has very little heat output. The price tag made it even more appealing.
The box arrived very well packaged and the bulb inside was triple wrapped.
The set-up is very simple. I had my growing set-up ready to go in less than 5 minutes. The company recommends that the light be placed 2 to three feet from the plants.
I have had my light set up for over a week and I am very happy with the results. My plants are thriving, the room is not as hot, and I can definitely see how the LED is an energy saver.
I have absolutely no complaints and would definitely like to add more of these to our pepper paradise.
